INTRODUCTION

The four-year undergraduate curriculum of the Department of Safety, Health and Environmental Engineering (SHE) was first established in 1997, for the purpose of educating students as senior engineers capable to efficiently utilize available resources to improve environmental, and problems in the industry. The main sources of students are from vocational, and general high schools. The master programs, including general and continuing educational programs, were astablished in 1999. The doctoral program was established in 2001 under the Program of Engineering Science and Technology, Collage of Engineering.

GOALS

The goals of the Department of Safety, Health and Environmental Engineering are as follows:
a. Developing integrated environmental, safety, and health engineering.
b. Developing skills for solving complicated environmental and safety problems in the industries.
c. Balancing development of professional and general skills.
d. Cultivating environmental and safety talents who can put theory into practice.
